New Zealand 2016 | Part One
Ah. The breath of fresh New Zealand air. Welcome to my favorite place in the world! I flew into Dunedin with adequate rest on the plane. Students were buzzing around the city centre and the weather was warm and sunny. Not what I've been used to in our cold midwest back home.
Day two led us to Gore, a little-big city with nothing but farms around. Piano Flats was an incredible and beautiful hike in beech tree forests and winding rivers. A hike down near Nightcaps let me to plenty of sheep and sandflies along the riverbed.
I'm not much for words, so here are some photos. Enjoy!
